This Privacy Policy explains how Service Scheduler AI ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our scheduling application and related SMS messaging services (the "Service").
Clients opt in to receive SMS messages by voluntarily sending the first text message to a provider's business phone number, which is made available via a QR code and phone number on the provider's booking page, business card, in-store signage, and social media profiles. No phone number is added to our messaging list through any other means, and we do not engage in blanket marketing or unsolicited SMS outreach.
Upon a client's first message, an automatic reply confirms what they are agreeing to before any further messages are sent. SMS messages may include appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling updates. Message frequency varies based on appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Consent to receive SMS messages is never a condition of purchasing any service.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver appointment-related messages through the Service. This commitment applies regardless of any other data-sharing terms described elsewhere in this policy.
We do not sell your data. We share information only with the third-party services needed to operate the Service, including Google Calendar, Twilio (for SMS delivery), Stripe (for payments), and our AI provider (for scheduling conversations). Each provider handles data according to its own privacy policy. As stated above, SMS opt-in data and mobile phone numbers are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data is retained for as long as an account is active. Providers can reset all app data from Settings or delete their account at any time, which permanently removes stored content. Clients may request deletion of their information at any time by replying STOP or contacting us using the details below.
We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and OAuth-based calendar access that never exposes a provider's Google password to us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time, including phone numbers and message history, by contacting us using the details below.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please contact us using the details on our Support page.
